Dear Friends & Colleagues,
Greetings from Agra, “The City of Taj”.
On behalf of the
Organising Committee, it gives us immense pleasure and honour to extend
invitation to you all for the International Critical Care Congress
& 15th Annual Conference of The Indian Society of Critical Care
Medicine (CRITICARE- 2009) to be held from 18th to 22nd February, 2009
at The Jaypee Palace Convention Centre, Agra (India).
In this conclave with the experienced faculty of International &
National repute, you will have a wonderful opportunity to renew old
ties & friendship, discuss important issues, exchange ideas and
share knowledge and experiences in the field of Critical Care Medicine.
The theme of the conference is "Optimizing ICU Resources"
because all of you realize the importance of utilizing our meager
resources, in the most cost effective way as we cater to a large low
socio-economic population. Optimization in health care - what to speak
of Critical Care needs our urgent attention due to rising health care
delivery cost, new & emerging complications and expensive
technologies. We need to introspect of what is relevant to our needs.
Agra is home to one of the seven wonders of the world - the "Taj Mahal". This ethereal
monument was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz
and is a sublime experience of the greatest love story ever told. Agra, as the third apex along with
Delhi and Jaipur, forms the "Golden Triangle" - India's most popular tourist
itinerary.
February is a very pleasant time and surely the delegates shall enjoy
not only the climate, but also the scientific activities of the
conference in addition to Our hospitality. We wish that the members
shall attend the conference in large numbers and also take advantage of
the tourism facilities available. Our goal is to provide such a
fulfilling experience that each person walks away with satisfaction
both academically and from the recreation point of view.
Kindly get yourself registered as early as possible.
With warm regards,
